Registered Home Manager

We are now looking for a Registered Manager to come and join us in making a positive impact on the lives of others. My client is service provider for young people with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviour.

his means that we provide accommodation and support to young people as they transition from being cared for to living independently.

The role allows you to take overall responsibility for all aspects of running the service, ensuring the staff team enable the people we support to lead a valued and fulfilling life, maximising their potential physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and ensuring their wellbeing.

With highly effective communication skills, you will interact with a wide variety of community based Semi-Independent living schemes to ensure the safe and efficient running of the service.

As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for the success of the branch in respect of budgets, targets, key performance indicators, staffing, quality, delivery of service, development of new business and profitability. You will be fully responsible for ensuring branch operations meet and exceed our SOP.

As a Registered Manager you will:

  • Build effective relationships with current and potential patient referral sources such as Local Authorities, GP’s and Hospitals
  • Communicate with YP Social Workers, Councils, Family and making sure everyday emails are complete.
  • Must know how to do Pathways, Risk Assessment, Care Plan, Health & Safety Check etc.
  • To be at the unit 5 days per week. Monday-Friday.
  • Liaise/ meet with Councils  informing them of current available properties for service users. Understand their requirements and fit our services around that.
  • Drive awareness amongst referrers in service lines and strategic imperatives.
  • Target and secure new referrer relationships for existing/new facilities.
  • Build multi-level relationships with Referrers, Clinicians, Practice Managers, Secretaries and other key influencers, and develop a full understanding of their requirements and changing needs.

Working with Local Authorities

  • Primary conduit through which local authorities commission our services.
  • Once the placement is made, the Registered Manager will be responsible for completing any placement forms required by the Commissioner.
