We are looking for a Registered Manager to join our team at our 5-bed children's home in Ilford. The home provides care and support for young people aged 11-17 with EBD.

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that it meets all regulatory requirements and provides the highest standards of care. You will also be responsible for the recruitment and management of staff, as well as the development of the home's overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that it meets all regulatory requirements
• Manage the staff team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
• Develop the home's overall strategy and ensure that it is delivered effectively
• Work with young people to develop their individual care plans
• Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals
• Represent the home to the local community

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified to Level 5 in Children and Young People's Care
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a residential care setting
• Experience of working with young people with EBD
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to providing high-quality care

Salary and Benefits

• Salary up to £50,000
