Meditemp are recruiting for an experienced CPN (Band 6) to work in Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham communities. The role will be working with older adults within the Home treatment team. They are offering an alternative to hospital admission, support patients in their own home, medication monitoring, reducing social inclusion, monitoring risk etc.

The successful candidate will be available full time Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm and10:00 to 18:00pm on weekends (flexibility may be considered) to provide assessment and triage as part of the home treatment team.

Community Psychiatric Nurse essential skills:

• Implement evidence-based care plans and risk assessments
• The ability to implement and share best practice of local policy across multi agency platforms
• The ability to build and maintain professional and therapeutic relationships with patients and their families
• Knowledge and experience of clinical and management supervision.
• Good organisation and problem-solving skills
• Manage and communicate sensitive information effectively
• Effective team work skills

Meditemp requires you to have:

• A minimum of 6 months recent experience as a children and young person’s community psychiatric nurse
• NMC registration
• Eligibility to work within the UK
