Location: Ascot, Berkshire
Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, rota-based (including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins)
Contract: Permanent

We’re thrilled to be building a brand-new, purpose-built children’s residential service in Ascot – fully registered with Ofsted and preparing to welcome our first children.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a new team from the very beginning, helping to create the home’s culture, routines, and values in an environment designed entirely around children’s wellbeing, safety, and emotional recovery.

Current Opportunity Deputy Home Manager

Salary: £38,840 – £40,000 per year (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in leading and developing the home
  • Mentor, guide, and inspire a newly forming staff team
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, care, and compliance
  • Champion trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to care
  • Lead on staff supervision, training, and professional development
  • Promote emotional safety, consistency, and stability for all children

About You:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or working towards) desirable
  • Significant experience within children’s residential care
  • Reflective, confident, and compassionate leadership style
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and achieving positive outcomes

We also welcome experienced professionals who may not yet hold formal qualifications but can demonstrate genuine skill, commitment, and alignment with our values.

Senior Support Workers

Salary: £36,660 per annum (includes one sleep-in per week at £60)

Residential Support Workers (RSW)

Salary: £34,320 per annum (includes one sleep-in per week at £60)

Both roles offer the chance to help shape the daily life, culture, and positive routines of our brand-new home while providing exceptional care and support to children with complex needs.

About the Service

Our Ascot service offers a calm, nurturing, and therapeutic home environment for children aged 8–18 with complex needs, including emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.

Our home includes:

  • Spacious, modern lounges and living areas

  • A calm, safe, and purpose-built environment designed for emotional recovery

No children have yet been admitted – giving our new team time to settle, build connections, and embed best practice before our first placements begin.
