A three month temporary full time placement has become available in Chadwell Heath, Greater London. Our client is looking for an experienced and conscientious Band 7 Community Psychiatric Nurse to assist with the emotional wellbeing team and daily triage referrals. This service provides specialist assessment and management of children with complex neurodevelopment disorders. The successful community psychiatric nurse will need to be available for 3 months, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Community Psychiatric Nurse essential skills:
- Proficient communication skills
- The ability to observe, assess and respond appropriately to patient needs
- Prepare and maintain patient records
- Implement care plans and risk assessments
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with patients and their families
- To keep calm under pressure and when dealing with challenging or confrontational behaviour;
- Good organisation and problem-solving skills
- Effective team work skills with the ability to support and communicate appropriately between multiple agency platforms

- Previous extensive experience as a Community Psychiatric Nurse within the NHS.
- NMC registration
- Occupational Health in line with the dept. of health
- Eligibility to work within the UK
- Valid driver’s licence
